Sarah Mintz is a Los Angeles based filmmaker. She received her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Her thesis film TRANSIT, starring Dakota Johnson (Suspiria), was a finalist for Best Dramatic Short at Fusion Film Festival and screened at the TLC Chinese Theatre.

Sarah's feature screenplay JUNK FOOD DIARY is a top 5 finalist for Nantucket Screenwriter’s Colony, a finalist for the NYU Production Lab and a finalist for Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. She is a SUNDANCE Fellow in the 2017 Writer’s Intensive with her project, JANE SAYS, and has recently completed a short film GOOD GIRL JANE (starring Rachelle Vinberg of Crystal Moselle's Skate Kitchen and Travis Tope of American Vandal).

Sarah has mentored with such filmmakers as Cary Fukunaga, Joachim Trier, Yann Demange and Alejandro Inarritu.

She is currently preparing to shoot her first feature film, GOOD GIRL JANE.
